About Me

Morgan: In November 2008, my husband and I had our first child--a son, Barrett (Bear)--who has Down syndrome. "Learning from Bear" follows the lessons he is teaching me about life. "Twysted Yarn" was conceived shortly after an ultrasound and finding my second child was a girl. I decided to teach myself how to make "cute hats" and began posting the pictures on facebook. When I received nearly 30 requests for hats from friends and family that week, I thought I'd give it a shot to make it a small business.
